Mr. Vivek Sharma

Assistant Professor

Mr. Vivek Sharma is currently working as Assistant Professor in the School of Computing Science and Engineering. He has over 13 years of teaching experience and has been associated with Galgotias University since 2023. He is a firm believer in productivity and efficiency at work, exhibiting an honest work ethic and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment. A passionate educator, he views teaching as a means to not only convey concepts but also to foster critical thinking and problem-solving among students. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from NIT Goa and holds M.Tech. and B.Tech. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering. He has published 4 Scopus-indexed articles, 15 conference papers, 3 book chapters, and holds 3 patents. He is a lifetime member of IFERP and IAENG, and is both GATE and NET qualified. His areas of interest include Cloud Computing, Wireless Networks, and Machine Learning. He also serves as an Active Learning Mentor under the G SCALE initiative at Galgotias University.
