Mr. Souvik Mondal is currently working as Assistant Professor in School of Liberal Education, Department of Economics. He has over 1 year of teaching experience in the field of Economics and Public Health. He believes in ethics and efficiency in work. He acknowledges that teaching is not only confined to making the pupils understand the concepts of a course but also to develop intellectual ability and critical thinking. He always endeavours towards the holistic development of the students. He has participated in many conferences, seminars and workshops at the national and international platforms.

• Ph.D. in Economics from Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy, University of Mumbai.
• M.Phil. in Population Studies from JNU, New Delhi.
• M.Sc. in Population Studies from IIPS, Mumbai.
• B.Sc. in Economics(Hons) with Math and Stats from R.K.M.V, Belur Math, WB
