Mr. Kumar Kunal is an Assistant Professor at School of Law, Galgotias University. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at the Faculty of Law, Delhi University, specializing in environmental law. His doctoral research focuses on "Access to Environmental Justice in the Context of Sustainable Development," with a particular emphasis on the role of the National Green Tribunal. This research reflects a deep-seated passion for environmental justice and a strong commitment to addressing contemporary legal issues.
Mr. Kunal’s academic journey is characterized by a relentless pursuit of knowledge and a profound dedication to the principles of environmental justice. This commitment is further demonstrated through his professional experience, including roles as a Programme Manager at Public Concern for Governance Trust (PCGT) and Project Officer at the Foundation for Ecological Security. In these positions, he engaged with a wide range of legal matters, such as Community Rights over Forest Resources, the RTI Act, 2005, the POCSO Act, 2012, and Child Rights. Additionally, he has served as a Guest Faculty at Government Law College, Mumbai.
Mr. Kunal holds an LL.M. degree in 'Access to Justice' from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He has also earned an LL.B. degree from the Faculty of Law (CLC), Delhi University, and BA (Hons.) in French from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

He has authored several papers published in reputable journals and presented at various national and international seminars.
