Mr. Kamaljeet Singh is an Assistant Professor at the School of Law, Galgotias University since 2017. He completed his BALLB from Punjabi University Patiala (2010) and Post Graduation (LLM two years) in the year of 2012 from Chanakya National Law University, Patna (Bihar) with a specialization in Corporate Laws and later joined the academic world. Recently he also completed M.A. in Corporate Social Responsibility from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in the year 2024. Presently he is pursuing his Ph.D. from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala (Punjab) in the area related to “Corporate Social Responsibility”
He has presented research papers in many National & International Seminars & Conferences. He has at his credit 25 publications in the form of articles, research papers, chapters in various books, refereed, UGC Care and peer-reviewed journals. He has also participated in 12 FDPs/ 2 Refresher Courses/ One Law Teachers Conclave/ 19 Workshops. He is also heading the Centre for Corporate Laws and acting as a coordinator. He is also a coordinator/member of various committees like Examination, Library, Journal, BCI, NAAC etc. He has chaired more than 15 technical sessions in National and International Seminars and adjudicated more than 12 National Moot Court Competitions. He has received the Best Teacher Award from the University Institute of Legal Studies, Department of Law, Chandigarh University, dated 4th Sept 2017. He also got the “Best Research Paper Award” on his research paper titled “Comparative Constitutionalism of CSR with special reference to India & Europe” from Ansal University Gurugram.
His area of interest and teaching includes the mastery of subjects related to Company Law, Corporate Governance, Stock Exchange Trading, LLP, Contract Law, Banking& Insurance law, International Investment Law, Competition Law, Law relating to Finance and Securities, FDI & Mergers and Acquisitions.
