Mr. Hemanth M

Assistant professor

Mr. Hemanth M is currently working as Assistant Professor of English at the School of Liberal Education. As a passionate educator, his vision is to contribute constructively for the society by providing knowledge, guidance, and direction to the students. With strong emphasis on efficiency in work, he is completely dedicated for the holistic development of his students. He firmly believes that an effective teaching methodology facilitates the development of critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills among the students. He is enthusiastic to teach courses such as British Drama, British Prose and Fiction, British Poetry, Literary Theory and Literary Criticism, American Literature, Indian Literature in English, New Literatures in English, & Communicative English. His research area includes Trauma Studies, Memory Studies, Pluralistic Approach to Trauma, Indian Literatures in English, and Exile Narratives. He has participated in various conferences, seminars and workshops at national and international levels.

  • PhD in English (Pursuing) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
  • M.A. in English from University of Delhi.
  • B.A. in English Language and Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.
  • UGC NET&JRF.
