Mr. Abadhan S. Sabyasachi, currently serving as Assistant Professor (Gr-II) in the School of Computing Science and Engineering, is a highly qualified professional with a total experience of more than 8 years in teaching and research in various Indian universities. His association with Galgotias University since 2023 has been marked by his pursuit of a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, following his master’s degree (M. Tech) from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati, and his bachelor’s degree (B. Tech) from the esteemed Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, both in Computer Science and Engineering. His work on Govt. of India-sponsored projects has been instrumental. He has published over 15 research papers, a testament to his academic productivity, in renowned international peer-reviewed journals and conferences, including Springer WPC journal and Elsevier PCS journal, IEEE SMC, IEEE SRDS, IEEE ICIT, and IEEE HPCC, in Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, and Machine Learning. His focus on machine learning approaches to the Internet of Things (IoT) has been particularly impactful. He has edited/authored two research/textbooks with internationally reputed publishers and is a member of professional societies such as ACM and IEEE. His role in convening/organizing more than 5 Co-curricular/Extracurricular events for the benefit of students in the past five years has been commendable.

Scholarly Activities:
Prof. Abadhan S. Sabyasachi aims to promote cutting-edge research in the department and develop research proposals availing external funding and organization/agency grants. Also, putting efforts into establishing State-of-the-art laboratories along the lines of updated technologies such as cloud computing, big data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), and machine learning to fulfill the department's general computing needs and turn them into vibrant ones. He worked as a Junior Project Fellow in the Govt. Sponsored R&D project "Design, Development, and Verification of Network Intrusion Detection System" at IIT Guwahati. Further, to have tie-ups in research collaborations with national and international research groups/labs, reputed universities/institutes, and organizations, such as the IEEE, ACM, and SIAM, to promote cutting-edge research activities at the UPES Dehradun. He was the founding faculty sponsor of the ACM Student Chapter at NIT Silchar and the Faculty-in-Charge of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program at SRM University, AP. He remains proactive in upkeeping the department to meet its goals and vision, achieve compatible higher growth, and improve the overall standing/reputation of the university by matching the national and international rankings and indicators.
