Kshitij Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor at the School of Design, Galgotias University, with a focus on the Advertising, Graphics, and Web Design program. He brings over four years of professional experience as a freelance graphic designer, specializing in brand building and social media communication.
Kshitij has been actively involved in curriculum design, storytelling through visual media, and mentoring students with a human-centered design approach. He played a key role in contributing to the revival of the HMT Watch Division through co-design initiatives with enthusiast communities. His academic and professional journey reflects a commitment to making design more participatory and inclusive.
His research explores the transformation of users from passive consumers to active participants in the design process, focusing on the democratization of the design experience. Beyond academia, he has a deep passion for filmmaking, horology, music composition, and creative writing.
