Dr. Varsha Pandey is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Agriculture at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, specializing in soil science and agricultural research. She earned her M.Sc. in Agriculture (Soil Science) from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, in 2018. Her master's thesis focused on soil health assessment under different land use systems. Subsequently, she completed her Ph.D. from the same institution in 2022, with a dissertation on soil quality indexing under integrated nutrient management approaches. Dr. Pandey is ICAR-NET qualified and has authored numerous research papers, book chapters, and articles in prestigious journals and magazines. She has received accolades including the gold medal and ISSS Zonal Awardfor the North zone in 2018, Plantica Young Scientist Award in 2021 and the Soil Science Best Ph.D. thesis award in 2022. Her dedication and significant contributions have earned her recognition, including the Global Excellence Award in 2023 and the Student Excellence Award in 2025 from GBPUA&T Pantnagar.
