Dr. Upasana Singh

Assistant Professor

Dr. Upasana Singh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at Galgotias University. With a strong academic background, including a Ph.D. (pursuing) in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, Prayagraj. Her research focuses on establishing the competencies required for the twenty-first-century digital workforce, focusing on Information Technology. Ms. Singh brings expertise in Talent Management and Competency Mapping. She has published a Scopus-indexed research paper, and other papers are in the pipeline in various reputed international journals, along with presentations at multiple national and international conferences. Ms. Singh is also actively engaged in academic activities, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum enrichment. She holds a postgraduate degree in Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Allahabad. In addition, she has cleared UGC/NTA-NET three times. 

She has teaching experience at the undergraduate level, contributing to classroom instruction, academic evaluation, and departmental activities during her Ph.D. She has presented and published research on competency mapping, sustainable leadership competencies, green computing, and workplace behaviors in reputed journals. She is proficient in MS Excel, SmartPLS, SPSS, and R Studio. Her academic journey reflects a strong commitment to teaching excellence, research engagement, and student development.
