Dr. Sandhya is working as Professor of Law, School of Law, Galgotias University, Greater Noida from September 14th, 2021. She has ten years of teaching experience and research experience, beyond part time experience of one and a half years. She has worked earlier as Associate Professor with the same University. Previously, she worked as Assistant Professor with organisations like School of Law, UPES, Dehradun, Amity Law School Noida, Amity University and Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, GGSIP University, New Delhi. Her interest areas are research methodology, human rights, especially gender and child rights, human trafficking, labour laws and law and development. She was awarded with Ph.D. from Faculty of Law, Delhi University in 2015, which dealt with Child Trafficking for labour purposes. She had started her career working as Research Associate on projects funded by international and national organizations like IDRC, Canada; UNFPA, India; UNDP, India; and NCW, GOI on the issues relating to access to justice, gender and child rights acquiring field experience of variety.
