Dr. Ram Sewak Singh

Associate Professor

Dr. Ram Sewak Singh is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering (DEECE) at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. Dr. Singh completed his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Agra University, Agra and his M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra. He earned his Ph.D. from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar. He has over 15 years of rich teaching experience. Dr. Singh has served at various institutions at the Global level, including Adama Science and Technology University, Adama. He was a member of the Task Force Team (TFT) for the development of a Research Center in collaboration with South Korea and Adama Science and Technology University, Adama. Dr. Singh was awarded the Haryana Young Scientist Award in 2008 for his quality research on "Handover Decision Algorithm for Next-Generation Wireless Networks". 

Dr. Singh also known for his quality teaching for which he received the best teacher award in IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad. He has supervised more than 20 M.Tech. students and is presently advising more than 7 Ph.D. students (3 completed). He has also delivered expert talks at various universities at the Global level.

Dr. Singh is actively contributing to research and development and has served as a Guest Editor for the Special Issue (Vol. 63) of the International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, an Inderscience journal indexed in Scopus. He was an Editorial Board Member for the International Conference on Pediatrics, Perinatology, and Child Health (PPCH 2022), recognised for his contributions and achievements in innovative research. He has reviewed numerous papers in Elsevier, IEEE Access, Sensor, Internet of Things and Springer Journals. Dr. Singh has published two books on Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio and Wireless Communication. He has published more than 50 research papers in reputed international journals (SCI/Scopus) and 25 in national and international conferences. Dr. Singh has six research grants (three of which are currently completed) and two patents (one granted and one published). His research interests include 5G and beyond wireless communication, bio-signal and image processing, and the precise prediction and classification of cardiovascular diseases using machine learning, as well as spectral, nonlinear, and chaotic features.
