Neha Singh is an Assistant Professor of Law at the School of Law. She is also a Doctoral Researcher at Banaras Hindu University (Faculty of Law), where her research focuses on the intersection of space law and intellectual property rights (IPR). A recipient of the UGC NET-JRF, she brings together academic excellence and practical research experience, having earlier served as a Research Assistant at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluruin 2018.
Her academic foundation combines specialization in Corporate Law (LL.M., WBNUJS Kolkata) with a distinction in Energy Laws (B.A.LL.B. Hons., UPES Dehradun), equipping her with a multidisciplinary approach to contemporary legal challenges.
Neha has authored and co-authored influential publications in both academic and public platforms. Her work spans across constitutional law, reproductive rights, technology regulation, IPR, environmental law and AI.
She has actively participated in several international and national conferences, presenting papers on topics ranging from planetary protection in outer spaceand commercialization of space activitiesto arbitration lawandclimate change governance.
Beyond research, she has consistently invested in academic development and training. She has completed certificate courses and faculty development programs on outer space IPR, patenting systems, privacy and data protection, and AI in academic research. These engagements reflect her commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology and law into her teaching and research.
