Dr. Namita Gupta

Dr. Namita Gupta is a doctorate in the area of Competency management from Gautam Budha University Greater Noida. Her varied experience of twenty-three years in areas of HR & employee training comprises with an amalgam of corporate, training & academic work experience. Prior to joining Galgotias University, she has contributed to various organization’s of repute like DME, DSEU, DU, Sharda University, JIM. Noida (HR facilitator & trainer), Honda Siel Cars India Ltd. G Noida (HR Generalist & Trainer), AKGEC Ghaziabad (HR & OB faculty). She has to her credit various international & national publications in areas of Competency Management, Training & Development, Performance Appraisal, Employee engagement, Knowledge management etc. in various prestigious journals listed in SSCI, Scopus, UGC databases. She has attended /contributed to 22 national & International Conferences & Publications at reputed institutes like IIT Roorkee, IIMs (Ahmedabad, Kashipur), Florida University (USA), Ljubljana University (Slovenia) etc., in the area of competency mapping, skill shortage and performance management system etc. Has chaired sessions at various conferences. She had been awarded an Associateship at IIAS Shimla, the UGC center of Humanities in India. She has two-decade expertise of conducting HR & soft skills training, successfully delivered to organizations like Tata Power, Mother Dairy, NIBSCOM, NIESBUD, Central Warehouse Corporation, LIC, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Transport Corporation of India, Jaipuria Noida, DTC, Technia, NIOS etc. Besides being a Trainer, Teacher and corporate professional, she is a philanthropic person at heart and is an active volunteer of Art of living from the last 17 years. She has been awarded letters of appreciation from NGOs for her contributions towards the society. Has headed the National Service scheme (NSS) activity for her Business school ,In order to promote experiential learning had organized Business Mela to provide hands on training on business. Has been actively volunteering for various community connect and CSR initiatives in both personal and professional gamut’s of life.
