Dr. (Mrs.) Vinny Sharma is an Assistant Professor, Forensic Science, School of Biomedical Sciences, at Galgotias University, India. She is also Python – Certified, LaTeX – Certified, Ph.D. She is also an appointed Innovation Ambassador, Galgotias University, for Institute Innovation Cell an initiative of Ministry of Education, Govt of India. She is also heading the IIC-Galgotias University. She has over a decade experience in the field of Forensic Science and has been training not only students but also the Law enforcement officers of India and Abroad in her forensic journey. She was also a visiting faculty at prestigious institutes and universities in India. Along with this she has also provided her useful service as Expert Evidence in different Court of Laws, India. She is also the founding member of Forensis Agora – Forensic Society of Galgotias University and Forensis Cyberdost Cell, Galgotias University.
She is a member of various organizations: Editorial Board, Indian-Botanist, Indian Botanists Blog-o-Journal, India, Member, EPg-Pathshala Project, MHRD, Govt. of India, Member, Editorial Board, International Journal of Forensic Science, Red flower publication, India, Advisory Board member, Criminological Research And Development Organization, India (established under Indian Trust Act, 1882, ISO 9001:2015 certified).
She has published more than 100 research papers in National and International journals/ magazines/ newspapers. She has also been invited as speaker, guest speaker and keynote speaker in various national and international conferences and webinars. She has 2 patent credited to her.
She has been awarded with Honorary Membership of Criminological Research And Development Organization, India (established under Indian Trust Act, 1882, ISO 9001:2015 certified). She has also done her training on Stakeholder Engagement for the Implantation of the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) organized by UNODC (United Nations Office on Drug and Crime.
She has been actively working as a counselor for survivors of sexual assault specially with the teenagers. She is an activist working against cyberbullying. She is working with various forensic science and criminological associations for spreading awareness against cyber crime and cyber-bullying.
