Dr. Hamidreza Namazi received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He has more than 17 years of research experience in signal and image processing. He is the author of more than 150 peer-reviewed ISI journal articles. His research interests include mathematical and computational analysis and modeling of time series and patterns in mechanical and biomedical engineering. He is an associate editor of several high-impact ISI journals. Besides several concurrent appointments at universities in Europe and Asia, Dr. Namazi is currently working as Dean for Research Excellence and Global Engagement and the Director of the Biomedical Signal & Image Processing Lab at Galgotias University.
