Dr. Deepika Pal

Assistant Professor

Dr. Deepika Pal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Biosciences and Technology, Galgotias University, with a Ph.D. in Food Nutrition and Public Health from SHUATS, Prayagraj. Her expertise lies in clinical nutrition, dietetics, public health epidemiology, and cancer nutrition research. She has previously served as Scientist II at AIIMS Raebareli in the Department of Community and Family Medicine, where she contributed to community-based and laboratory-based research projects on soil-transmitted parasitic infections, anemia, filariasis, and sexually transmitted diseases. She has also worked extensively on large-scale data collection and statistical analysis to support public health interventions. Her Ph.D. and postgraduate research was patient-based, focusing on nutritional interventions and quality of life in cancer patients. Dr. Pal has authored multiple research and review papers, presented at prestigious national and international conferences, and received awards for her impactful research. With a strong belief that “teaching is not just the transfer of knowledge, but the cultivation of curiosity and critical thinking,” she is committed to guiding students towards scientific excellence, innovation, and holistic development.
