Dr. Ayushi Rana is serving as Assistant Professor in the School of Biological and Biomedical Sciences, Department of Forensic Sciences, Galgotias University, since 2024. She is the Undergraduate Program Chair, has successfully handled responsibilities as the Time Table Coordinator, and is currently managing NAAC Criteria 2 while also working as the ABC Coordinator. Dr. Rana has 5 years of teaching experience in the field of forensic science. She has previously served as Assistant Professor and Academic Coordinator at NIMS University, Jaipur, and as Assistant Professor at Om Sterling Global University, Hisar. She completed her Ph.D. in Forensic Science from Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHUATS), Prayagraj. Her doctoral research focused on poisoning trends in Eastern Uttar Pradesh and the efficacy of analytical detection methods.She is a double UGC-NET qualifier (2019 & 2020) and has an active research profile with 16 peer-reviewed publications (including Scopus-indexed papers), 2 Scopus-indexed book chapters, and 2 patents. She is also a member of the Asian Polymer Association (APA), founded at IIT Delhi, which serves as a professional platform to promote polymer science and technology across Asia. Dr. Rana has presented her research at multiple national and international conferences (oral and in-person) and has successfully completed 13 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), including 4 workshops and 5 seminars. She also gained practical exposure through internships at the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Lucknow, and the Crime Branch, Allahabad Police.

Her academic and research interests span forensic medicine and toxicology, forensic chemistry, forensic biology and serology, and advanced analytical techniques.
