He holds an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry Nauni, Solan (Himachal Pradesh) India, specializing in topics such as marketing, price behavior, market integration and price forecasting, organic and inorganic farming economics, and sustainable agricultural practices.

Before his current role, Dr. Atul Chaudhary worked as a Research Associate on an ICSSR-funded project focusing on the "Impact of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) on the livelihoods of farmers." He has organized workshops, collaborated with farmers, and advanced knowledge in the fields of agricultural marketing, pricing, and sustainability.
