Dr. Ashwarya Srivastava

Associate Professor

An educationist at heart with a mission to direct Gen-Z through modern teaching practices, Dr. Ashwarya Srivastava brings a blend of innovation and research to the classroom. Currently an Associate Professor at the School of Education, Galgotias University, she specializes in preparing future educators by integrating EdTech and Artificial Intelligence into pedagogical practices creating Active Learning and engagement. An Active Learning Mentor (ALM) of the G-SCALE Program of the Galgotias University, she believes in creating active learning spaces, facilitating learning by doing and collaborating and taking students towards experiential and lifelong learning.

Dr. Srivastava earned her Ph.D. in Education Training, where her research provided deep insights into the relationship between teachers' attitudes, job satisfaction, and overall teaching effectiveness. With over nine years of experience spanning higher education and school teaching, she focuses on imparting knowledge that is both academically rigorous and practically applicable. At Galgotias University, she handles diverse subjects such as Pedagogy of Physical Science; Educational Technology; Educational Philosophy; Guidance & Counselling; Curriculum Theories; Creativity, Innovation, Entrepreneurship & IPR; Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing; Sports &Yoga and ICT in Research & Teaching.

Beyond teaching, Dr. Srivastava is a dedicated mentor and leader. She currently serves as a Ph.D. Supervisor for national and international scholars and holds key administrative roles, including School Counsellor and Event Coordinator. Her commitment to research is reflected in her numerous publications in high-impact journals, focusing on the transformative role of AI and modern learning theories in education.

  • 4.5+ years of teaching experience in Higher Education (Assistant Professor at Galgotias University since 2021).
  • 1 year of experience as a Lecturer (B.Ed.).
  • 4 years of Industry Experience as a School Teacher.

Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Education Training (2017).
  • M.Ed. – CSJM University, Kanpur.
  • M.Sc. (Chemistry) – CSJM University, Kanpur.

  • Research published in the International Journal of Advance and Applied Research (IJAAR) with an Impact Factor of 7.328.
  • Won multiple scientific and quizzing contests at both college and school levels.
  • Acknowledged for contributions to International Peer-Reviewed journals with high SJIF impact factors.

  • Published extensive research on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education and Connectivism Learning Theory.
  • 17 research papers published till now.
  • Authored a book chapter titled "Consciousness and Its Five Levels" in Bhartiya Shiksha Psychology.
  • Presented and published papers on Teaching and Learning Strategies in Teacher Education.
