Prof. (Dr.) Ananta Shrivastava is a distinguished academician and researcher with over two decades of experience in the field of Food & Nutrition. She has been serving as a Professor at Galgotias University since June 2021 and has previously held academic and professional positions at institutions including Accurate Institute of Management & Technology, Dharm Public School, Jai Institute of Nursing & Research, and Birla Institute of Medical Research.
Her teaching expertise spans a wide range of subjects such as Clinical Nutrition, Therapeutic Nutrition, Advanced Dietetics, Nutraceuticals, and Food Science. She has also contributed significantly to academic administration through roles as Exam Coordinator, Proctor, and Member of Board of Studies and Examination Committees.
Dr. Shrivastava has actively participated in national and international conferences, FDPs, and workshops, and has delivered numerous guest lectures and training programs in community nutrition, maternal and child health, and holistic wellness. She has also initiated impactful programs such as the Diet Counseling OPD at Galgotias University and coordinated Nutrition Week celebrations.
Her research contributions include multiple publications in reputed journals, five communicated book chapters, and patents on innovative food and nutrition technologies. She is also the author of the textbook “Basic Nutrition” (2002).
