Conducted by ASDC in collaboration with the EICHER Van program, the training involved 110 engineering students. It began with expert sessions by Mr. Anirudh (EICHER Group) and Ms. Kirti (ASDC), followed by hands-on training inside the EICHER Van.
Students received practical exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as electric vehicles, autonomous systems, telematics, sensors, and diagnostic tools. They also learned modern manufacturing and maintenance techniques, enhancing their technical and soft skills. Objective of Training Program:
- To provide reskilling and upskilling opportunities for the existing workforce to adapt to emerging technologies and market demands in the field of Automative Sectors.
- Focus on eco-friendly practices and train workers in sustainable technologies within the automotive industry, like electric vehicles and hybrid systems.
- To bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements and to equip students with practical skills and knowledge, enhancing their employability in the automotive sector.
Outcomes:
The Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) training in featuring with EICHER Van program provided numerous benefits to the engineering students by bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements. There are total 110 students have participated in the training program. The program started with a Power point presentation by Mr. Anirudh Sir, Training Manager ECHIER Group followed by Ms. Kirti Ma’am, project manager ASDC. Further students got the chance to get the Hands-on training in the ECHIER VAN.
The training program for the students included practical, hands-on experience in cutting-edge automotive technologies, including electric vehicles (EVs), autonomous systems, green mobility etc. The program fostered innovation, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills while providing exposure to real-world projects and internships with leading automotive companies.
