On Friday, 27th June 2025, the Department of Biotechnology & Bioengineering, School of Biosciences & Technology, Galgotias University, Uttar Pradesh, in collaboration with Fodo AI, organized an enlightening online workshop titled “Transforming Bioengineering Research and Innovation with Cutting-edge AI.”

The workshop was conducted under the umbrella of the Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) and Bio-Innovators for Sustainable Growth (BIGS) initiative, aligning with national goals for sustainable development and digital innovation. The session aimed to bridge the gap between artificial intelligence and bioengineering, highlighting how advanced computational tools can revolutionize research, diagnostics, and industrial applications in the life sciences.

The resource person for the workshop was Mr. LN Pandey, MS by Research from IIT Madras, a passionate AI researcher and innovator. He presented an engaging and insightful session, introducing participants to cutting-edge AI techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and their real-time applications in genomics, drug discovery, disease modeling, and biomedical data analysis.
