Report on clean and drive event

The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Galgotias University, in collaboration with the District Court Gautam Budha Nagar, organized a remarkable 'Clean and Drive' event on October 1st, 2023, under the program "Ek Tarikh Ek Ghanta." The event aimed to promote cleanliness and awareness about responsible waste disposal while engaging the community in a collective effort to clean and beautify the surroundings of the District Court.

The event was meticulously planned and executed, with a detailed agenda as follows:

Gathering and Briefing (09:45 AM – 10:00AM)Participants gathered at the District Court premises at 9:00 AM, where they were warmly welcomed by the NSS team. A brief orientation session was conducted to explain the objectives and activities planned for the day.

Cleanliness Drive (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM):The participants, including NSS volunteers and members of the District Court staff, actively engaged in a cleanliness drive. They cleaned the surroundings, picked up litter, and ensured proper disposal of waste materials.

Plantation Drive (11:00 AM - 11:30 AM):

To promote environmental sustainability, a plantation drive was organized. Participants planted saplings around the court premises, symbolizing the commitment to a greener future.

Refreshments and Thanking Session (11:30 AM - 11:50AM):

After the event activities, participants were treated to refreshments as a token of appreciation for their efforts. A short session was held to thank everyone for their active participation.
