The Department of Pharmacy, in collaboration with the Career Planning and Development Division (CPDD), successfully organized a Job Readiness Program on March 20, 2025. The event aimed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge to excel in placement interviews, professional communication, and career planning.
The session commenced with a welcome address by Ms. Neha Sharma, the Organizing Secretary, who emphasized the significance of career preparedness in today’s competitive job market. Following this, Dr. SK Abdul Rahaman, Dean, SMAS, addressed the audience, highlighting the role of academic excellence and practical training in securing rewarding career opportunities.
Mr. Farhan Khan (Senior Manager, Placements) delivered an engaging session on effective job search strategies, interview techniques, and employer expectations. His talk provided students with valuable tips on how to prepare for technical and HR interviews, ensuring confidence and clarity in professional interactions.
Ms. Prishali Chaudhary (Manager, Placements) conducted an interactive workshop where students participated in mock interviews and resume reviews. She guided them on how to highlight their strengths and relevant experiences while applying for jobs in the pharmaceutical industry.
The session also featured an insightful address by Dr. Shikha Yadav (Placement Coordinator, Department of Pharmacy), who discussed internship opportunities, research prospects, and career growth in the pharmaceutical domain.
