The two-day workshop on “An Introduction to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)” was conducted on 28th and 29th November 2024, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM each day. It was designed to provide students with a deeper understanding of ADR mechanisms, their applications, and their importance as an efficient alternative to traditional litigation. The workshop also marked the inauguration of the Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (CADR) at the institution. The theme centered on exploring ADR as a transformative approach to resolving disputes efficiently, amicably, and cost-effectively. It highlighted the growing importance of ADR mechanisms—such as negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and Lok Adalats—as practical alternatives to traditional litigation.
