School of Liberal Education, in collaboration with The Prem Rawat Foundation, USA, has organized International Peace Day on 21st September 2024. The Resource persons for the event were Ms. Tanuja Vashistha, Ms. Sunita Chettri, Ms. Poonam Sehrawat & Mr. Sanjay Srivastava.
Welcome Address by Prof. (Dr.) Anuradha Parasar, Dean, School of Liberal Education & School of Languages, opened the session by welcoming all the attendees and panelists. She congratulated everyone on the occasion of International Peace Day and emphasized the importance of peace, unity, and cooperation across borders, cultures, and ideologies. She has also addressed the fact that a new course, the Peace Education program, has been introduced for BA students in the School of Liberal Education. The event focused on fostering dialogue, mutual understanding, and a shared commitment to building a more peaceful world.
