International FDP
Event Date: 12th - 16th March 2023
Department of Pharmacy, School of Medical & Allied Sciences, Galgotias University has successfully conducted the FiveDaysOnlineInternationalFaculty Development Program on “Exploration on Innovative Learning inScientific Research to Sustain in HEIs” from 12th – 16th March 2024 from 2:00 PM to 05:00 PM. The FDP was conducted through Zoom meeting.
On the first day of International FDP was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) K. Mallikharjuna Babu. Then eminent speakers Dr.SaurabhSrivastava, KPJ Healthcare University, Nilai, Malaysia discussed “Tech DrivenHealing:ExploringtheLandscapeofContemporaryMedicalDevices” and Dr.Neeraj Kumar Fuloria, Pharmaceutical Chemistry Unit, Faculty of Pharmacy, AIMST University, Semeling Campus, Malaysia delivered a speech on “ResearchGrantWriting: An Art”.
On second day, Dr. Vineeta Vishwakarma, Associate Dean Research, Galgotias University delivered a lecture on “Exploration on Funding Agencies & ThrustAreas” and Dr. B. Ranjanarayan Prusty, Dean (Research), Galgotias University discussed about “BestPracticesinResearchandStrategiestoenhanceresearchvisibility,citation and impact”.
On third day, Dr. Jayeeta Bhaumik, CIAB, Department of Biotechnology, GOI delivered speech on “InnovationandTechnology TransferinthefieldsofBiopharmaceuticals”. Dr. Neha Tripathi, Research Scientist, CEA-Paris Saclay, France discussed the “Pharmaco-informaticsApproachesforUnravellingTargetbasedTherapeuticsOpportunities:InsightsfromComputationalTechniques”.
On fourth day, Dr. Ravinder Naik Dharavath, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, Toronto, Ontario discussed about “AbroadFellowshipsandFutureProspects in HEI’s” and Dr. S. K. Abdul Rahaman, Dean, SMAS, Galgotias University delivered lecture on “Accreditations & RankingofHEI’s”.
On last day, Mr. Shailendra Singh, Examiner of Patent and design, patent office, New Delhi, GOI discussed about “FilingProcess of IPR”.
Finally, Ms. Shuchita Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy had given vote of thanks. And the closing remarks for this international FDP was given by Dr. S.K.Abdul Rahaman, Dean SMAS, Galgotias University.
