ImagiX – UI/UX & Graphic Designathon was successfully conducted on April 2nd, 2025, as part of the Young Minds 2025 technical fest at Galgotias University. Organized by the IEEE Galgotias University Student Branch – Computer Society, the event was held offline at the AI Block Library, Lower Ground Floor, Galgotias University Campus.
The designathon focused on encouraging innovation, creativity, and design thinking among students through user-centric design solutions. The competition challenged participants to solve complex design problems within 4-6 hours using industry-standard tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Canva.
The event attracted 34 teams comprising 1-3 members each from various academic disciplines, showcasing exceptional creativity, technical understanding, and presentation skills. The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of design professionals including Devansh Kumar, Nida Khan, Kshitij Kumar, and Mudit Aswal, who assessed entries based on innovation, user experience, visual appeal, and problem relevance.
The winners were Team Phantom (1st Place - ₹2500), Team Power Puff Girls (2nd Place - ₹1500), and Team Frame Crafters (3rd Place - ₹1000). The event successfully achieved its objectives of fostering design innovation and providing a strong foundation for the Young Minds fest.
