Expert Lecture on Foundation of 21 st century skills, critical thinking, communication, collaborative, creativity in teaching

School of Education, Galgotias University organised an expert lecture for its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) students on the topic " Foundation of 21st century skills, critical thinking, communication, collaborative & creativity in teaching " with great enthusiasm on 30th August 2024. Dr. Bhavna Aggarwal, Assistant Professor at Satyam College of Education, Noida delivered her talk on the topic.

The lecture aimed to empower students with the knowledge and skills to integrate 21st-century skills into their teaching practices. Critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity are the four pillars of 21st-century skills. Teachers play a vital role in modelling and fostering these skills in their students. Effective integration of 21st-century skills into teaching practices requires a student-centred approach, technology integration, and authentic assessments.

During the session, the speaker engaged the audience with interactive activities, real-life examples, and thought- provoking discussions. Students participated enthusiastically, sharing their experiences and insights on the topic. Dr. Satyendra Gupta, Professor and Dean, School of Education welcomed her for the lecture.
