Career Counselling for CTET
Event Date: 10 October 2024
CTET, the full form for which is The Central Teacher Eligibility Test, is a national level exam conducted in India by the Central Board of Secondary Education for determining the eligibility of candidates for appointment as teachers. CTET takes place twice a year and is for teachers who want to teach in the Primary Section.
As a part of the Career Counselling for the students of B.Ed. and M.Ed. from the School of Education, an initiative was taken so as to inform and acquaint the students with the CTET Exam and its utility and applications.
As a part of this coaching session, everything from filling the online form to the revised curriculum and the format of the Question paper along with the distribution of marks was discussed in detail with the students.
A session with our own CTET qualifying M.Ed. student, Ambrisha was also organized who gave valuable insights and tips to motivate the students for successfully qualifying the exam. Ghritika also gave special lecture on the distribution of marks and types of frequently asked questions.
This also helped the students in connecting towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG)-4 of Quality Education.
Dr. Ashwarya Srivastava, Associate Professor, at Galgotias University organized the event.
