That when we first embarked on our nursing education, many of us saw ourselves solely at the bedside, providing compassionate care and comfort to our patients. And while that remains a vital and honorable part of our profession, our roles as nurses are not confined to the walls of hospitals or clinics. In fact, as we’ve grown in our careers, many of us have discovered that the skills, knowledge, and empathy we cultivated as nurses have empowered us to impact lives on a scale far greater than we could have ever imagined. Today, nurses are shaping healthcare policies, driving advancements in medical research, educating the next generation of health professionals, leading community health initiatives, and leveraging technology to revolutionize patient care. We are the voices advocating for equality in healthcare access, the innovators breaking barriers in global health, and the educators empowering others to rise to their fullest potential
