07 Days Online Faculty Development Program

Event Date: 18-24 Jan 2025

7 days online FDP was being conducted with the mutual cooperation of Army Institute of Education and Galgotias University. The purpose of this FDP was to benefit the teachers of college, university etc by providing them with maximum information about IQAC,NAAC, NBA and NIRF. I hope that all the participants will use the knowledge gained from these sessions to improve and enhance the quality of their respective institutions only then this FDP will be meaningful. 

I am very happy to share a brief report of the last 7 days of FDP, the details are -

Day one( Saturday 18/01/25) The inaugural ceremony of the first day began with the Indian tradition of lighting of the lamp to receive the blessings of Maa Saraswati ,after that prof. (Dr.) Rainu Gupta, Dean, School of Education ,Sanskriti University, Mathura took lecture on the topic of ‘Introduction to Quality Assurance. ’ She explained about overview of higher education in India , defined quality assurance and why quality assurance in higher education is essential.

Day 2 (Sunday 19/01/25 ) Website links of NAAC, NBA and NIRF were

shared to the participants for self learning.

Day 3 ( Monday,20/01/25) Prof. (Dr. )Satyendra Gupta Sir

,Dean,SOE,Galgotias University explained on the topic of 'NAAC: accreditation process and documentation'. He told us about binary accreditation and maturity based graded levels, major reforms in accreditation of higher education institutions and new matrix versus old matrix of NAAC in very easy and detailed manner.

Day 4 (Tuesday 21/01/25) Prof. (Dr.) Jayant Kumar Sahu sir, Director AIMT, Greater NOIDA talked about the topic of “NBA: accreditation process” . He explained benefits of accreditation, purpose of accreditation and general policy on accreditation very clearly.

Day 5 (Wednesday 22/1/25)Dr. Abhilasha Gautam, principal, Army Institute of education described on the topic of 'Role of IQAC in quality assurance' She told about role and responsibilities of the IQAC and role of IQAC in quality assurance.

In the second session of the same day, Dr. Sangeeta Solanki mam took lecture on the topic of 'Effective documentation for NAAC'

Day 6 (Thursday,23/01/25) Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Kumar sir, Principal and Officiating Director and Author, Army institute of management, Kolkata talked on the topic of “NIRF: Ranking and Performance Metrics”. He answered all the questions of the participants very patiently and clearly.

Day 7 (Friday 24/ 1/25) Dr J. D. Singh, Associate Professor, Gramotthan Vidyapeeth (PG) College of Education, Sangaria, Rajasthan, talked on the topic of ‘The value of feedback in the Accreditation and Ranking Process.’ And also join Prof. Dr. Renu Luthra, Advisor to chancellor and Former VC of Galgotias University for the closer ceremony of this 7 days Faculty development Programme. She shared their valuable information and knowledge about NIRF Ranking and NAAC accreditation Process. Also shared her experiences and ideas with us.
