7-Day NSS Special Camp
NSS Special camp was organized from 25th March 2022 to 31st March 2022 in Motipur Madaiya Village.
The camp started at 8 am in the morning with an energetic yoga session that infused a positive vibe in the Swayamsevaks. After the delicious breakfast, the scouts went for a visit to Motipur Madaiya Village where they cleaned the temple and the surrounding field by removing the unwanted hedges and tilling the land. Next, they cleaned the unwanted garbage on both sides of the road and built small drainage for the proper flow of handpump water.
After this, the Chief Judicial Magistrate created an awareness among the children by enlightening them on the Awareness of Law and order. At around 10.30 pm Mr. Kapil Rajput shared his views about Pollution control and gave insights about alternative resources of energy. At 2.45 pm Rakesh pal and Shri Randheer Singh Solanki trained the scouts on self-defense.
At the end of this session, Dr. Vinni Sharma did a small conversation and Dr. A. Ram Pandey offered a bouquet to the chief guest. In today’s session, Kapil Rajput was awarded.
On the second day, Dr. A. K. Jain enlightened about waste management and told about the alternative resources of energy that will help in controlling the pollution also.The chief guest also shared his views on Fire Safety and Control and ways to handle such situations.
On the third day starting with the usual morning yoga session under the supervision of yoga guru Than Singh and breakfast the scouts attended a session with the Fire Officer, Mr. Indrapal Singh from Gautam Buddha Nagar. He shared his views on fire control and safety measures in case of an emergency.
In the fourth day, the students visited the village Gharbhara and created an awareness among the locals about cleanliness. The students cleaned the premises of the primary school and Sati Mata Temple. The scouts told various motivational stories to the students of the school and encouraged them. During this session, NSS coordinator Dr. A Ram Pandey and program officer Gaurav Kumar were present along with the locals of the village.
The session of the fifth day began with the usual routine and at 9.30 am the scouts went to the Motipur Village where the cleaning of the NSS Swayamsevak temple was done by them. An OPD medical camp was organized in which the scouts were trained on first aid to be done in case of snake bites. There was a light conversation session between students and Asst Professor Sonia Rani and Smt. Pooja Saraswat. At the end of today’s session, the chief guest was felicitated with a bouquet.

The scouts went to the Motipur village and cleaned the temple and tilled the land. During the medical camp, the scouts had a conversation with Dr. Tasha Singh, Professor, Department of Mass Communication. Later after lunch, the scouts did free medical check-ups of the villagers and at night the scouts conducted some entertaining sessions.
On the last day, the chief guest was District Udyan Officer Ms. Shivani Tomar and she shared her life experiences with the scouts. She praised the scouts and mentioned that India is standing tall on the shoulders of the youth. If the youth will be united only then they will be forging ahead with determination.
The Vice-Chancellor of Galgotias University, Dr. Preeti Bajaj while addressing the students said that only hard work leads to success. She exhorted the students to work continuously for success. She appreciated the seven-day-long cleanliness drive by the students, plantation of saplings, teaching children in the village, and several programs including Vipassana work and said that this is just the beginning. The University will organize such camps from time to time. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of the university, appreciated the hard work and dedication of the students and also praised the contribution of the NSS coordinator and program officers.
Addressing the students, NSS coordinator Dr. A. Ram Pandey said that the main objective of organizing the camp is to connect the students with the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi. So that they can make society clean and disease-free. He appreciated the work done by the students and for making the camp a success. After this, the chief guests honoured all the students who did excellent work in the camp by giving them certificates.
During this NSS Coordinator Dr. A. Ram Pandey, HoD, Department of Mass Communication, Sreesanth Sharma, Public Relations and Information Officer, Galgotia University, Dr. N.B. Singh, School of Law, Pranjali Mishra, School of Nursing, Kapil Rajput Mechanical Department, Than Singh, International Yoga Guru, Dushyant Rana NCC Instructor, Bhagwat Sharma Polytechnic Department, Maheep Kumar Singh, Department of Mass Communication, and the people of the village were present.
