B.Tech Civil Engineering (Construction Technology)

Programs Overview

The School of Civil Engineering is offering 4 years B. Tech Program in Construction Technology. The curriculum is designed to provide detailed instruction in commercial construction practices. Students will learn the details of scheduling construction projects, estimating construction costs, job costing techniques, and construction project management skills. Coursework introduces students to the structural and mechanical systems used in today's high performance buildings. Our curriculum includes extensive coverage of the latest sustainable construction practices. Courses provide a strong foundation in both commercial and residential management practices. This program will offer intensive training for all students which will make individuals to seek management positions in the construction industry.

B.Tech Civil Engineering Environment and Pollution Control

Programs Overview

The School of Civil Engineering is offering 4 years B. Tech Program in Environment and Pollution Control. The courses will cover the three foundational disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Civil Engineering and will teach the students to understand and manage complex environmental problems. Courses will feature hands-on experience using technology and equipment in water and soil quality analysis, ecological field sampling, analytical chemistry, hazardous material management, surveying, AUTO CAD drawing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping. Laboratory practices in water quality testing, groundwater movement, computer aided environmental audits and the chemistry of pollutants will provide the students the skills to analyze and remediate the urban environment.

M.Tech in Energy & Environmental Engineering

This interdisciplinary programme facilitates graduates diversifying into a wide range of specialties in the broad area of Energy and Environment. The programme connects the different aspect of energy generation and utilization especially renewable energy sources; energy audit, conservation and management; environmental pollution in solid, liquid and gaseous forms waste.

M.Tech in Structural Engineering

Programs Overview

The program aims to provide a comprehensive education and training to engineers using a holistic approach to structural systems engineering by emphasizing and building on the commonality of engineering structures at the levels of Materials, Mechanics, Analysis and Design. The students are trained to develop expertise both in analysis as well as in design aspects of the Structural Engineering.

M.Tech in Transportation Engineering

Program Overview

The master's degree program in Transportation Engineering trains the students for senior positions in core industry, consultancy, government, non-profit organizations, and higher studies. The offered courses provide skill set in topics such as pavement engineering, traffic engineering, transportation economics and planning, intelligent transportation systems, traffic systems operations, Airport planning and design and analysis of transportation systems. Students also get hands-on experience on various industry relevant software such as MXROADS, FAARFIELD, IITPAVE, VISSIM, etc. as well as the design codes of Indian Roads Congress.

Diploma in Civil Engineering

Eligibility Notes: A Master's degree from a recognized Indian University or any other equivalent degree to the satisfaction of the Academic Council of the University, in the relevant field, with not less than 55% marks in aggregate or 6.0 CGPA on a 10 point scale or equivalent.
