About the programme

The 1 year M.Sc. Microbiology program is aimed at providing essential knowledge and practical expertise of the microbial sciences to students. Microbiology is the branch of the science that deals with This program includes the detailed study of microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses, collecting information of diversity and exploration of micro-organisms from diverse environments. It also includes about the pathogenicity of the microorganism and etiology of the diseases. The students will also learn the application of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses in traditional (food, dairy, wine, antibiotics, fermentation, etc.), biotechnological industries, agricultural industries and environmental sciences.
