To promote socioeconomic diversity, the university aims to enroll pupils whose household income does not exceed 20%. The objective of this initiative is to promote inclusiveness and facilitate access to opportunities for people of various socioeconomic circumstances. Through proactive efforts to recruit students from low-income households, the university endeavors to foster an educational environment that is more equitable and promotes social mobility. One step in this direction is the University's policy of awarding scholarships to meritorious candidates on the basis of their academic performance in university- administered examinations (e.g., 10+2 or Graduation, Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/Aptitude Test), or exceptional abilities in sports, performing arts, or literature. Additionally, athletics scholarships are made available to students from underprivileged communities by the university. Financial Assistance for Retirees/Serving Defense/Paramilitary/Police Personnel and Their Dependents (CRPF). Students in need have access to nonperishable food items through the establishment of on-campus food banks and pantries, among other forms of assistance provided by Galgotias University. Meal plans and subsidized dining options are also provided by the university to students who are facing financial limitations. The university also provides dormitories at reasonable rates. Students also have access to complementary and discounted public transportation permits. Additionally, it provides legal clinics on campus that are either free or offer them at a reduced cost. These clinics aim to resolve prevalent legal concerns among students and promote knowledge regarding their rights and obligations. In addition, a Student Affairs Office is established by the university to facilitate coordination and offer support in these domains.
