Dr. Deepak Kaushik is currently working as Assistant Professor in School of Law, Galgotias University. He has a total experience of more than 8 and 1/2 years of teaching and non-teaching and has been associated with Galgotias University since 2018. Before Galgotias he was a practising advocate Delhi, registered under Bar Council of Delhi, taking care of both family and criminal matters. He has done his Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) for Faculty of Law, Delhi University (DU), LL.M. in Business Laws from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow. Presently being the Coordinator of Moot Court Society (MCS) he has trained and actively contributed to various national and international moot court competitions as a judge including First Asia Pacific vis Pre Moot, Justice G. P. Singh Memorial National Corporate Law Moot, SAARCLAW-JLU Moot and many more. He is a firm believer of bringing practical approach to the teaching of law by honing and imbibing the skill of advocacy into the legal curriculum. Under this mission he has been vigorously involved in the Legal Aid Clinic and Mediation Centre of Galgotias University to coach the students in fostering free legal aid to marginal sections of the society and contributed to numerous pro-bono activities.
