The students of the School of Hospitality from Galgotias University, participated in the 3 daylong event held at Banarsidas Chandiwal Institute of Hotel Management at Kalkaji, New Delhi.
This event is a national level competition related to major section of hospitality, Food Production(Cooking Events), Flower decoration, Cocktail and mock tail, and a quiz.
The teams were from the whole of India, Hotel Management Institutes around 35 teams participated this year.
This was the first time that the team of Galgotias University Third year students participated in and also in all the events. The students were very excited to work with all the other college students. The hard work was well appreciated.
The Chef’s (judges) from the Hotel industry really appreciated the efforts of our students in almost all the culinary events. It was a very good learning experience for all the students who participated.
We won the second runner up prize for the quiz competition, organized by the Taj Group of Hotels. The students in the event were Ketan Sinha and Parveen Golmei.
The other students were Udai singh Rajput, Abhishek sisodia, Akash Sharma, Vaibhav Tyagi and Jajvalya Tyagi. The team was guided by Prof. Mousumi Dasgupta.
