Minutes of Meeting

Neurophysiology Research Group, Department of Clinical Research & University Center for Research and Development (UCRD), Galgotias University, Greater Noida organized the Research Seminar Series (Series-3) on 13 Feb. 21 at 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM. Total 28 participants including research group members (Prof. Ranjana Patnaik, Dr. Gaurav Kumar, Mr. Kaushaledra Kumar, Ms. Hima Dutta Baruah), undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. Scholar of the Clinical Research Department was participated in the event. The topic of seminar was &ldquoAssociation of Gut Microbiota with Ischemic Stroke&rdquo. Ms. Hema Kumari, Assistant Professor, School of Biosciences & Biomedical Engineering was presented in the seminar. In the presentation, she discussed the gut microbiota and central nervous system (CNS). She presented the Microbiota-Gut-Brain Axis, Brain-Gut Axis After Stroke, Gut-Immune Response to Brain Injury and Effect of Gut Microbiota on Neurotransmitters. In the question answer session, participants asked the queries and got satisfactory answer by Ms. Hema Kumari.
