13th October 2020, The School of Education, Galgotias University organized a distinguished online lecture on "Education 4.0 and the Emerging Education Trends for Teaching and Learning for our next Generation". In this webinar B.Ed., M.Ed., Ph.D. students and faculty members of the Galgotias University and participants of some other institutes participated. This webinar conducted on the ZOOM Meetings platform and live telecasted on the YouTube.

The objective of webinar was to aware students about Education 4.0 an emerging trend of today&rsquos education during Covid-19. The resource person Dr. Pradeep Tomar, Assistant Professor and HOD, Department of CSE, University School of ICT, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, U.P. was invited to deliver his lecture on the topic. In the beginning Dr. Satyendra Gupta, Professor and Dean, School of Education, Galgotias University welcomed the resource person and thanked him for sharing his knowledge with the participants.

Dr. Tomar in his lecture provided an overview of Industry revolution 4.0 and highlighted its different stages and their effect on education. His second part of the lecture gave an insight into the different versions of Education 1.0 to Education 4.0. and illustrations leaved no room for confusion.

Overall the session turned out to be worthwhile. Queries posted by the participants were answered with utmost clarity. The session concluded by proposing a vote of thanks by Dr. Shri Kant Dwivedi, Associated Professor, SOE.
