School of Education organised a Webinar on Importance of Drama and Role-Play in Education on 7 October, 2020

On 7th October 2020, The School of Education, Galgotias University organised a webinar on &ldquoIMPORTANCE OF DRAMA & ROLE-PLAY IN EDUCATION&rdquo. In this webinar B.Ed. and M.Ed. students participated.
The eminent resource person Dr. Tasha Singh Parihar, Associate Professor, School of Media and Communication Studies, Galgotias University gave a brief about how different aspects of drama could be integrated in the teaching-learning process. She also explained that how this integration of drama makes the learning process more interactive. She provided a deeper understanding of the benefits of including roleplay into education by giving different examples. She emphasised on the benefit of reading newspaper daily in helping children to come out shyness. She also shared her experiences, with the students of the education department, through narrating various incidents and the challenges teacher came across while involving every child in this type activities and how a teacher could overcome these challenges.
The webinar followed by an interactive discussion with the participants. The webinar ended with the vote of thanks by B.Ed. student Virendra.
