2nd October 2020, The School of Education, Galgotias University organised an online workshop on &ldquoResearch Paper Writing&rdquo. The workshop was conducted through ZOOM and YouTube platforms. More than 120 participants joined online workshop on ZOOM and 550 watched on YouTube live.

With the moto of creating & "S.M.A.R.T." professionals, the School of Education, Galgotias University moved a step towards its accomplishment. Dr. Satyendra Gupta, Professor and Dean welcomed the resource person and all participants and highlighted some features of the University and SOE. The much-needed workshop aimed to provide an intelligible picture into essentials of writing a good research paper to the M.Ed. and Ph.D. scholars. The eminent resource person for this, Prof. (Dr.) Kaushal Kishore, Dean (SOE), Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Bihar with his profound expertise gave an insight into intricacies of writing a Research Paper. Simple and thoughtful examples related to the steps of paper writing were illustrated. Dr. Kishore&rsquos explicit discussion and differentiation involved while giving an overall picture of the research work through a story narration was noteworthy

The major takeaways of the informative workshop were the clarity given in framing research questions, linkage to be established while writing a paper, rationalizing the work and analyzing the gaps. All the queries of the participants were answered with utmost clarity making the session worthwhile.

Overall, the workshop reached up to its expectations making the audience of education fraternity enlightened. The efforts of the entire team were immensely admired. Dr. Shri Kant Dwivedi, Associate Professor, SOE, Galgotias University concluded the session by proposing vote of thanks in which gratitude towards the renowned expert for making the session meaningful was expressed. Ms. Deepa Bisht, Assistant Professor performed as the moderator.
