Galgotias University had organised a webinar on IEEE: Internet based Education, Entertainment and Employability on 20th June 2020. Renowned speaker Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, SLIET Longowal, Former Director-AICTE was the resource person of the webinar.

The webinar began on high note with an encouraging welcome speech by Hon.Vice Chancellor Dr.Preeti Bajaj. She briefly explained the objectives of the webinar and extended her warm welcome. She presented the initiatives of Galgotias University in promoting online education and effective implementation of Credit Transfer -SWAYAM courses offered to students.

Dr.Manpreet Singh Manna had very insightful session on integration of internet and technology in formal education. He explained multiple platforms available for skill enhancement and usage of open ware software in teaching-learning. He elaborated the need of ICT based and blended learning especially in post Covid-19 era. He illustrated the use of popular websites, apps for employment & entertainment and urged audience to adopt the technology & tools in best possible manner.

University Centre of Research & Development (UCRD) had initiated this webinar. Dr.Meenakshi Sharma moderated the event and Dr.B.Balamurgan delivered the vote of thanks.
