Galgotias School of Architecture had organized a Webinar on Modern Interior Design Accessories in collaboration with Dorset group of Industries on 27.06.2020.

Dorset is a leading brand name amongst the architectural hardware manufacturer and suppliers in India. The company designs premium quality door hardware. Some of the door hardware manufactured by the company is door handles, pull handles, door control systems, door accessories and glass solution. The glass solution has sliding door hardware like patch and fittings.

The inaugural speech was delivered by Dean School of Architecture. The event started with welcome note by Asso. Prof. Naved Ariyana. He explained the objectives of the webinar in an effective way. Our first speaker was Mr. Vikas Kumar Singh Business Development Manager of Dorset Group exhibits the Innovative Door handles Catalogue among students. He explained each and every product to the students. He explained locks and security systems in detail. After that he talk about Architectural Hardware. As Architectural Hardware plays an important role in every type of construction. Whether it is for residential or commercial or purpose every infrastructure in incomplete without Architectural Hardware. Hence, it is important for students to think and learn each aspect of it.

Other speaker was Mr. Naveen Raina working as a Trainer in Dorset group of Industries. He talks about the manufacturing process of the products. Through this webinar students learned about the Modern Accessories, Digital Locking System and furniture fittings. After the presentation there was a question answer session. It was really an eye opening session. End notes were given by Naved Ariyana and Ruchi.
