School of Medical & Allied Health Sciences (SMAS), Galgotias University organized a webinar entitled &ldquoBRAINSTORMING WITH CARDIO & NEURO EXPERTS &ldquoon May 21, 2020. The webinar started at 1 pm.
Prof. Dr. P.K Sharma, Dean, SMAS and Dr. Rituraj Verma, Program Chair, Physiotherapy Department, SMAS welcomed the guests for the day. With a special appearance in the webinar our Chief guest, Mr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of Galgotias University Overwhelmed the session.

The guest speakers were -
Dr. Rahul Sharma (PT), Sr. research fellow, department of, Neurology, AIIMS. He discussed RTMS in detail & use of RTMS in stroke patients. He has explained very well about RTMS (Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation), its uses, application & therapeutic uses. All the information provided by him will be very useful for our students to clear their concept about Stroke. It was a very interactive & valuable session.

Dr. Priya Matho invited the next speaker to share their valuable knowledge and information with the students, Dr. PRIYANKA SHARMA, Assistant prof. BCIP, IP UNIVERSITY. She begins the session with the topic &ldquovalvular heart disease&rdquo She discussed about the functions of heart valve, the diseases of heart valves & causes of valvular heart diseases. She has also explained about carditis, stenosis & regurgitation in detail. All the information provided by her will be very useful & valuable for our students.

There was an interactive session by the participants and the students with the guest speakers on the stroke rehabilitation & valvular heart disease. The session ended with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Yamini Sharma to the guest&rsquos speakers, the expert panelists and the participants.
