Webinar entitled Future Of Physiotherapy

A webinar entitled " Future Of Physiotherapy , a 10 Year career outlook for physiotherapists" was conducted by School of Medical and Allied Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy, Galgotias University, Noida.

Dr. Parijat Kumar ( PT , DPT , Msc) currently director of international sports and Orthopaedic manual therapy was the Guest Speaker of the session. There were more than 220 attendees from Galgotias University . Prof. Pramod Kumar Sharma ( Dean, SMAS ) and Dr. Rituraj Verma ( Program chair, Physiotherapy, SMAS) welcomed our guest speaker. The Co - Hosts Dr Yamini Sharma, Dr. Sakshi Bansal and Dr. Jyoti Sharma instructed the students abou the session till all the other participants joined in.

This Seminar was organised in 4 main themes related to Physiotherapy ,combined with various video presentations and Power Point Presentation. Self Analysis , Stay Determined " Phycho- Motor Skill" and Trending Physiotherapy. In future, there is a wide scope of physiotherapy in India as well as in abroad. He also advised students to go for " EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE " .Rather Than Focusing on short term fancy techniques , Focus on Long Term Treatment highlighting the physiotherapy profession. He Advised Students to " MAKE IT FUN" for the patients as well , Try being a Fun Physiotherapist , Enjoy your profession.

Dr. Parijat Kumar suggested students to LEARN , APPLY and PRACTICE ETHICAL APPROACHES. And it ended with Dr. Parijat addressing the doubts of the students and faculty members in a very sophisticated and dignified way which made the session more interactive.

The session was concluded by a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Mangalam Kumari to our guest speaker and all the members who helped in making it a success.
