School of Hospitality second live Webinar by Mr. Rishabh Tandon (Area Director-Human Resources (North India) with Intercontinental Hotel groups on " GETTING READY FOR THE NEW NORMAL HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY" was conducted via ZOOM on 12th May 2020 at 1100 hrs onwards .

The webinar was moderated by Assistant Professor Ms. Monalisha Dash (Program Chair &ndash BHM, & Training & Placement coordinator)

The webinar started with a welcome note from  Chef Vikas Sharma (Divisional Chair Food Production & Assistant Professor, School of Hospitality) He welcomed the keynote speaker for the session Mr. Rishabh Tandon . After this Prof. Onkar Nath Mehra (Dean, School of Hospitality) addressed a welcome note to Mr.Rishabh Tandon , SOH faculties and all participants in the webinar.

The session started with a powerful PowerPoint presentation on various objectives, Coronavirus: Impact on the Hospitality Industry &ndash (People , Economy, Travel) ,How the HR is looking forward and its prospective, How IHG is getting ready post covid-19 phase and how students can utilize this time more effectively during this lock down time to upgrade themselves.

Mr.Rishabh Tandon also emphasized on diversification of job for hotel management students and opportunities a student can explore in the job market after completion of HM degree.

After this the Q&A session started during which faculties of School Of Hospitality, Dr. Onkar Nath Mehra (Dean, School of Hospitality) & students asked various interesting questions which were very nicely taken up and replied by  Mr.Rishabh Tandon .

On request from moderator Ms. Monalisha Dash , Mr. Rishabh Tandon also shared some interesting and valuable tips for the students and advised how Talent could be developed to become successful in one's life .

In the end Dean School of Hospitality motivated students with his words. He also assured students not to panic in this situation and prepare for the future challenges,  And endorsed greeting culture of Hospitality "NAMASKAR" among all.

After this he addressed a vote of thanks to Mr.Rishabh Tandon  for his precious time and sharing his view and valuable inputs during this difficult time of Covid-19.
