Guest Speaker Mr. Dheeraj Rathore, Technical Manager, Loyalty Solution and Research Pvt Ltd,
The digital revolution is changing the financial world. The combination of financial services with technology is known as Fintech. Due to its growing success over the past 10 years, FinTech has unsurprisingly become one of the most important characteristics of today&rsquos economy and finance. Considering the importance and relevance of the Topic School of Finance and Commerce is organized 2nd speaker session on the topic &ldquoFINTECH on 13th March, 2020 in C &ndash Block Auditorium, GU campus under the guidance of Dr Salim Shamsher, Dean School of Finance and Commerce.
The School invited Mr. Dheeraj Rathore, Manager &ndash IOS Platform for Payback India, Gurgaon. Mr. Rathore is an experienced software engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry. His key skills are in Swift, iOS, tvOS, Objective-c, SQL, PHP and C++. He has earlier worked more than a decade in different profiles at companies like Viewlift, Bluelupin Technologies and Correlation Technologies. He has made presentations on various forums on recent software technologies involved in financial transactions. Mr. Rathore holds a master degree in computer application and several professional certifications.
Participants of this session were all 5 programs BBA (FIA) II and IV semester, B.Com.-International Accounting and Finance II and IV semester, B.Com. II, IV sand VI semester and M.Com. 2nd and 4th semester and MBA (FM) 2nd and 4th semester.
The day began with the welcoming the guest with a memento by Dr Salim Shamsher, Dean School of Finance and Commerce. During the session he discussed about meaning of Fintech, its uses and its future. He also talked about the other key areas of financial technology and growth of Fintech in India. His session was throughout interactive and many questions were put in by the students. He appreciated School of Finance and Commerce for introducing such speaker sessions and told students to take advantage of it.
At the end Dr. Arvind Sinha, Associate Professor, SFC proposed vote of thanks on behalf SFC to the speaker, dignitaries, students and faculty members for cooperation extended in making it a successful event. The event would not have been successful without the sincere effort put in by the Co-curricular team volunteers in organizing the event.
