School of Business organized a Panel discussion on Budget Analysis 2020
The GM club of General Management Division of School of Business organized a Panel discussion on Budget Analysis 2020. This was completely a student driven activity. The group of panellists comprised of MBA and BBA students who discussed key points of Budget focussing on three important sectors, i.e., Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sector of the economy. They tried to analyse Taxation policy also. The event started with the welcome address by our Dean Sir, followed by his opening remarks for the budget which initiated discussion by the panellist.
The students presented the highlights and key points of all the sectors and its impact on the economy in short term as well as in the long term. In their discussion they analysed the slowdown of the Indian economy, the budgetary and monetary provisions to boost the economy, disinvestment of LIC, strengthening the Public sectors bank, easing out the credit policy, the impact of reduction in various taxes and duties.
The Event was observed and graced by our Vice Chancellor Ma&rsquoam Dr. Preeti Bajaj. She provided her valuable remarks on the budget and motivated the students for their efforts. She further advised that different club members should meet regularly once in a week and organize such activities to provide exposure to the students. Students&rsquo Activities should be evaluated as a part of Internal Assessment component. The certificates were given to the students by our Dean. The event was ended with Vote of Thanks given by Division Chair of General Management. Dr. Meenu Shant Priya and Dr. Ranjul Rastogi were the convenors.
