Galgotias University, School of Education has been organizing a series of the guest lectures by very notable and inspiring school Principals for their B.Ed. students and faculty members. This guest lecture series is titled as 'Principal's Talk'. Under this series on February 19, 2020 Ms. Pratibha Chaudhary, Principal, Mahamaya Balika Inter College, Noida was invited to deliver her talk to B.Ed. and M.Ed. students in the University campus. She holds more than 27 years of experience in the field of school teaching and out of these more than 12 years as Principal. She is a true leader and a motivator in her own way.
Before the talk students recited Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Satyendra Gupta, Professor and Dean, School of Education welcomed Ms. Pratibha Chaudhary in the University. He presented a token of appreciation and a sapling to our guest. To motivate the students and faculty members her brief profile full of achievements was shared with them. After formal welcome guest started her talk on the topic- "Role of a Teacher in the Development of a School.&rdquo
Speaker acquainted the students on the basis of her experience about the real teaching scenario of the present day schools. She explained that teacher&rsquos job is just not a job but a huge responsibility of a generation. She started her talk on focusing 'Who is teacher?'. She highlighted and explained fourteen qualities of a teacher on her experience.
During the talk she shared her memories. She gave a mantra, be a good listener half of the problem would end then and there itself and you will find a solution.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Shri Kant Dwivedi. On behalf of the students Ms. Ritu shared her experience. Ms. Preeti Sagar, B.Ed. II semester student was the compere of the talk.
